Senior citizens who can no longer drive have no need to worry. Joyner Mobility offer reliable transportation services for the elderly or disabled. Whether needing to get a doctor's appointment, make it to a medical exam or simply explore the area by visiting local attractions, our team will pick up, drop off and provide a certified nursing assistant to help make boarding and exiting vehicles easy.

How It Works


Unlike standard buses, Joyner Mobility is a shared ride, advance reservation mode of public transit. These vehicles operate in an ADA-designated service areas.




Applying for Mobility


To become eligible to ride Joyner Mobility, you must complete an application and an in-person interview and assessment. Applications are currently not available online. To request an application for mobility services via email or by US postal mail, please contact us at 800-397-9916. Once Joyner has received your completed application, you will be contacted by Joyner to complete the steps of setting up your Mobility account.




Hours of Operation


Joyner Mobility does not run 24-hours. Buses and Vans run from 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 7:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.




Fares


Standard fare is $6. Joyner Mobility riders with authorization from a medical professional are allowed to ride with a designated personal care attendant at no additional charge. Visit our Mobility Fares page to learn more about paying for Joyner Mobility.




Travel Training Program


A Joyner appointed travel trainer will set up an appointment to meet with you to discuss your travel skills and goals. Contact Joyner at traveltraining@myjoyner.com to start the process.




Reduced Fare Program


We offer Reduced Fare to eligible senior citizens, people with disabilities and Medicare cardholders. It's part of making Joyner a transportation system everyone can use. To qualify for one of our Reduced Fare, you'll have to do the following: - Present documented proof of your age (65 years or older), your disability or your status as a Medicare cardholder - Provide a valid photo ID as proof of your identity - Complete and submit a Reduced Fare form when you apply for the program
